Range Time: The Fun Part

Our range time is designed to be both exciting and instructional. The shooting portion is a timed and scored event, and we will cover all requirements in detail during the class. Each student will receive a reference card outlining what is required for each phase.

Here’s what you need to know:

• Rounds Required: You will fire 50 rounds, and passing requires a score of at least 35 hits.
• Distances: Shooting will take place at 3 yards, 7 yards, and 15 yards. Most participants pass before reaching the 15-yard mark.
• Timed Fire: The shooting will be broken down into sections of 5-10 rounds and will be timed.
• Attempts: You have three opportunities to pass before a mandatory 90-day waiting period.

Recommended Gear:

• Bring a handgun you are comfortable and familiar with—there’s no caliber requirement, so even a .22 will work.
• A handgun with at least a 10-round magazine is recommended, along with two magazines. If your magazine holds less than 10 rounds, you will need two and will be required to swap magazines while on the clock! Please get in touch with us if you are unsure if your handgun is a good fit.

Our classes are engaging and interactive, focusing on the legal aspects of the Concealed Carry License in a fun and informative way.
